p. 175: A Darn Simple Red Clam Sauce

The ingredients for this sauce were butter, garlic, flower, V8 juice, clams 9with their juice) & basil. Mike and I both thought it turned out better than expected. Mike thought it looked like the sauce that comes in the cans marked “Chef Boyardee.” I served it over whole wheat thin spaghetti…much better than the penne we tried last week. I think the thinness of the noodles helped the taste a LOT.
